The editor’s preface explains why this book serves as the first official collection of Aushra Augustinaviciute’s works, with softened canon and extensive commentary. It highlights the need to harmonize terminology derived from Carl Gustav Jung while resolving ambiguities caused by multiple socionic schools and their different interpretations. The collection structure includes Jung’s typology report, introductory articles, personality type descriptions, practical testing for personal type, and notes and letters on socionics.","1 \nAushra Augustinaviciute Socionics Introduction \nAushra Augustinaviciute \nSocionics \nIntroduction \nTegga Kapgazvis \nSaint-Petersburg 1998 \nМоscow \nBBK 882 \nA930 \nCompiled by Leonid Filippov \nSerial design by Alexander Kudryavtsev Layout design by Anatoly Nechaev \nThe publishing house thanks Yuri Dorozhkin for the help provided in the preparation of this book. \n⦁ Editor's Preface \nHere is a book that is unique in several ways at once. These words are not an advertising stamp. Judge for yourself. \nSocionics, which can be briefly described as the information psychology of communication, is a young science. Nevertheless, it has gained enormous popularity in the widest circles of thinking people. A number of regular socionic publications are published, textbooks of various levels have been written, scientific societies and simple circles operate. There is an International Institute of Socionics in Kiev, one of the centers for the development of this science, and the 12th International Conference on Socionics was held under its auspices in 1996. \nDespite all this, this publication is the first official collection of the works of the creator of this new scientific discipline—Aushra Augustinaviciute. But this isnot the only thing that distinguishes the collection from a number of similar books. The canon adopted in such cases had to be greatly softened. And here's why. Socionics is an exclusively applied science, abstract theoretical positions, divorced from the practice of real human communication, are alien to it. This led to the fact that in a relatively short time the \"tools\" of the new discipline were formed: terminology, working methods and, of course, their own slang language—for initiates. There were also various schools-each with its own understanding of the theory and interpretation of practical results. Psychological typology \nhas previously been distinguished by the ambiguity of the same terms and provisions. With the advent of the hexadecimal division, the situation became completely critical. And all this-against the background of the absence of an elementary collection of the main works of the creator of the theory! \nA book published in such a situation could no longer consist only of the works of A. Augustinaviciute. Simple editorial conscientiousness required not only bringing the terminology of works from different years into a single system, but also extensive commenting. This is necessary for the professional reader, firstly, because the terms of A. Augustinaviciute-the successor of the work of Carl Gustav Jung-are identical to Jung's terms, they are understood differently by her, and secondly, because of the already mentioned discord of socionic schools and local trends. \nToday, many people are interested in\" popular psychology \" in general and socionics in particular. One can argue whether this is good or bad, whether it increases the authority of the psychological sciences or, on the contrary, leads to their vulgarization. But one thing is beyond doubt: anyone interestedwhether a \"fan\" or just curious-should have access to the primary source, and not judge science only by the next \"most correct\" presentation of it. The rest is \na matter of everyone's choice. \n* * * \nA few words about the construction of the collection. In the first volume, in addition to the main works of A. Augustinaviciute (\"Socion\", \"Dual nature of man\" and \"Theory of Intertype relationships\"), we also included a description of one of the sixteen socionic personality types- \"Don Quixote\"—as the most specific type of \"information metabolism\"developed by the author. These large and serious articles are preceded by two introductory ones. The first is thereport of Carl Gustav Jung \"Psychological Typology\", where the basics of the teaching from which socionics arose are extremely succinctly stated; the second is the article by A. Augustinaviciute \"Comments on Jung's typology and an introduction to information metabolism\", w","cbCaili7Foo1qqaq","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaili7Foo1qqaq","pdf",755947,1,72,"English","en",105,"#
