My goal was to try to make the letter positive or at a minimum not so negative. I thought about the meaning of Christmas and that it puts most people in a joyful mood. I then thought about what I was thankful for the most, my family and kids. Then I thought all of us could make ends meet better if we had the raises a contract would bring. But who's counting money at this time of the year? Negotiations have now dragged on into its 4th year and we continue to lose money every day. I wonder at what point does the water running under the bridge become so great that it is not recoverable.
