Gear shifting is now possible without ever taking your hands off the brake hoods or drops. \nGeneral Safety Information \n WARNING \n• Obtain and read the service instructions carefully prior to installing the parts. Loose, worn, or damaged parts may cause injury to the rider. \nWe strongly recommend only using genuine Shimano replacement parts. \n• Read these Technical Service Instructions carefully, and keep them in a safe place for later reference. \nNote \n• Operation of the levers related to gear shifting should be made only when the front chainwheel is turning. \n• For smooth operation, use the specified outer casing and the bottom bracket cable guide. \n• Grease the inner cable and the inside of the outer casing before use to ensure that they slide properly. \n• Use a frame with internal cable routing is strongly discouraged as it has tendencies to impair the SIS shifting function due to its high cable resistance. \n• The end of the outer casing which has the aluminum cap should be at the derailleur side. 4-mm cap \nDerailleur side \nAluminum cap Plastic cap or 4-mm cap \n• A special grease is used for the gear shifting cable (SIS-SP41) . Do not use DURA-ACE grease or other types of grease, otherwise they may cause deterioration in gear shifting performance. \n• Parts are not guaranteed against natural wear or deterioration resulting from normal use. \n• For maximum performance we highly recommend Shimano lubricants and maintenance products. \n• For any questions regarding methods of installation, adjustment, maintenance or operation, please contact a professional bicycle dealer. \nIn order to realize the best performance, we recommend that the following combination be used. \n\n| Series | ULTEGRA | |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Shifting lever | ST-6600 | ST-6603 |\n| Outer casing | SP41 | |\n| Gears | 20 | 30 |\n| Front derailleur | FD-6600 | FD-6603 |\n| Front chainwheel | FC-6600 | FC-6603 |\n| Rear derailleur | RD-6600SS | RD-6600GS |\n| Freehub | FH-6600 | |\n| Cassette sprocket | CS-6600 | |\n| Chain | CN-6600 | |\n| Bottom bracket cable guide | SM-SP17 | |\n\nOperation \nRear Front \nLever : Shifts from smaller to larger rear sprocket. Lever : Shifts from larger to smaller rear sprocket. Lever Fa : Shifts from smaller to larger chainring. Similarly be careful not to press lever when operating lever . Gears will not shift when both levers are pressed simultaneously. |\n\nBe sure to read these service instructions in conjunction with the service instructions for the RD-6600 before use. \nOperation of front derailleur levers \n(FD-6600) \n• Lever Fa : Shifts from smaller to larger front chainring. \nLever Fa \nLever Fa \nstart position \nIf operation of lever a dose not complete the chainring shift stroke, operate lever a again for the distance (X') to complete that part of the lever stroke (X) which was short. \nFull","cbCaifv2RL6G1s6X","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaifv2RL6G1s6X","pdf",283786,"English","# General Safety Information\n## Note\n# Operation\n## Operation of rear derailleur lever\n## Operation of front derailleur levers (FD-6600)\n## Operation of front derailleur levers (FD-6603)\n## Trimming (noise prevention operation)\n## Caution on operation","[{\"question\":\"What safety steps are required before installing SI-6K20A parts?\",\"answer\":\"Read the service instructions carefully before installing the parts.
