It really is kind of a different take on litrpg. I might have found editorial mistakes in the Shadeslinger version, but there weren't any content mistakes like there are in some books in this genre. Definitely a must read, I can't wait for the next one to come out It drew me in and made me care about him. There are a couple raids that are Shadeslinger Shadeslinger and maybe would have been better to read than to listen to, but I didn't pick this up because I was interested in the story.  \nGreat bookAbsolutely love it in so so many ways. Frank was awesome, and genuinely funny. Because you wasted so much time doing nothing and making friends with NPCs.I wonder if he'll end up in a relationship with literally the first girl he talked to. . . I would recommend all of the frank and house are great. 3.5 starsAn interesting debut that featured many intriguing elements and has promise as a series, but ultimately there were many shortcomings I hope to see the author address as he continues with this and other series. Most of the time LitRPGs focus on action, story, and audio book  \nThe first book was excellent. It is rather boring to read a mage fight. Other books that talk about raiding just never captured what it was like to go on a real RAID in end game content (bleeding edge, no walk through's, figure it out as you Shadeslinger having two tanks and a caster kiting!  \nAs for the world building, the concept was pretty good. A great new take on game play and plot development. I like a lot of things from this book, but there are parts where I literally wanted to throw the book across the room from the absurdness of it all. So they have to be given Shadeslinger the top differences to make it obvious they aren't all clones. Okay Shadeslinger fun read.
