They emphasized the importance of the transition toward a skills and knowledge-intensive, sophisticated economy, closing gender gaps, and addressing risks to youth. They also emphasized the importance of promoting human capital outcomes with a focus on the health sector and the need to improve retention, the quality of education, and access to affordable early childhood care and education to support working caregivers.  \nNoting Seychelles’ remarkable development trajectory, Directors acknowledged the inherent vulnerabilities that the country faces as a small island state. Directors emphasized Seychelles’economic potential for diversification in key sectors for employment generation through private sector investment, and called for close collaboration between the World Bank, IFC, and MIGA to attract private investments in strategic sectors and support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) development through existing tools.  \nWhile a Country Climate and Development Report (CCDR) is expected in FY25, Directors noted the importance of addressing the country’s high vulnerability to natural disasters and climate change. They stressed the need to strengthen IMF-WBG collaboration in this area through the new enhanced joint framework and the need for ongoing support to help the country utilize the Crisis Response Toolkit to enhance disaster risk management and preparedness capacity to address adverse natural events.  \nDirectors commended the country’s launch of the world’s first sovereign blue bond designed to support sustainable marine and fisheries projects and stressed the importance of incorporating lessons learned from Seychelles’ experience for other initiatives in the country or for other small states and coastal countries.  \nDirectors welcomed continued efforts in fostering partnerships and coordination across key reform agendas. They noted that the Performance and Learning Review would provide an opportunity to adjust the program in light of the political and economic context, and emerging risks, and to refine the CPF results
