Under the Basic Information Tab, scroll to Close Membership. Select Yes for closed membership or No to allow anyone who is interested to join the organization. Once you are done with settings, click the blue Save button, or any changes made will not register within the system.  \nSignup / Join Preferences  \nUnder the Access & Privacy Tab , you can establish preferences about whether or not someone needs a secret word (password) to join your group – closing membership to invitation only. You can also adjust Auto Validation to determine if a student is  \nautomatically validated as a member of your group just by joining the group page or if you want an officer to have to approve the member to join your page.
