She had been taught about road safety. She had to be careful. She waited with other passengers.  \nSuddenly, she saw a car speeding towards the traffic lights. There was a loud bang and confusion everywhere. Some pedestrians ran to the road risking their lives.  \nSena wanted to run and help the car driver but she remembered she did not have gloves. Their teacher had told them that they should always wear gloves before touching injured people. She had to think fast. She saw a telephone booth and ran to call an ambulance. She dialled the emergency number their teacher had given them. There was a voice from the other end.  \nIn less than ten minutes, an ambulance had stopped next to the car. Two nurses in gloves jumped out and gave first aid to the man. They then used a stretcher to carry him to the ambulance. The ambulance sped off to hospital.  \nSena was relieved the man had got help. As she wanted to walk away, a police van stopped before her. The inspector called her and wanted to ask her questions about what had happened.  \nCheck Your Understanding  \n1.
