Let me go , and someday I could be useful to you.”“Now that is funny!” roared the lion ,“How could a little thing like you ever help me, the king of all the animals?” But the lion let the mouse go. Weeks and weeks went by. One day the little mouse heard the large lion roaring. The noisy lion seemed to be in great pain. The mouse ran to the lion. He had been caught by hunters.
