Risk factors for SSC development were assessed, including effects of cytoreductive therapies, and the impact of SSC on patient survival. Methods retrospectively analyzed 1013 Ph-MPN patients diagnosed between 1995 and 2022, collecting demographics, clinical and laboratory parameters, cytoreductive exposure, and survival outcomes using IBM SPSS Statistics. Results showed 6.6% SSC prevalence, with carcinoma as most common; older age and male sex were associated with SSC occurrence, and arterial thrombosis was the sole independent risk factor, while interferon-based therapy was protective.
