Clinical features overlap with primary adrenal insufficiency except for the absence of pigmentation because skin melanocortin-1 receptor stimulation depends on ACTH. MC deficiency is not expected, though hyponatraemia may still occur through mild SIADH driven by cortisol deficiency.
