To score your test, use these instructions and the conversion tables and answer key at the end of this document. \nScores Overview \nThe redesigned SAT will provide more information about your learning by reporting more scores than ever before. Each of the redesigned assessments (SAT, PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, and PSAT™ 8/9) will report test scores and cross-test scores on a common scale. Additionally, subscores will be reported to provide additional diagnostic information to students, educators, and parents. For more details about scores, visit [collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/scores](collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/scores). \nThe practice test you completed was written by the College Board’s Assessment Design & Development team using the same processes and review standards used when writing the actual SAT. Everything from the layout of the page to the construction of the questions accurately reflects what you’ll see on test day. \nHow to Calculate Your Practice Test Scores \nGET SET UP \n􀁮 You’ll need the answer sheet that you bubbled in while taking the practice test. You’ll also need the conversion tables and answer key at the end of this document. \n􀁯 Using the answer key, count up your total correct answers for each section. You may want to write the number of correct answers for each section at the bottom of that section in the answer key. \n􀁰 Using your marked-up answer key and the conversion tables, follow the directions to get all of your scores. \nSAT Practice Test \\#1 Created 8/4/2015 1 \nGET SECTION AND TOTAL SCORES \nYour total score on the SAT practice test is the sum of your Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Section score and your Math Section score. To get your total score, you will convert what we call the “raw score” for each section — the number of questions you got right in that section — into the “scaled score” for that section, then calculate the total score. \nGET YOUR EVIDENCE-BASED READING AND WRITING SECTION SCORE \nCalculate your SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Section score (it’s on a scale of 200–800) by first determining your ReadingTest score and your Writing and LanguageTest score. Here’s how: \n􀁮 Count the number of correct answers you got on Section 1 (the ReadingTest) . There is no penalty for wrong answers. The number of correct answers is your raw score. \n􀁯 Go to Raw Score ConversionTable 1: Section andTest Scores on page 7. Look in the “Raw Score”column for your raw score, and match it to the number in the “ReadingTest Score” column. \n􀁰 Do the same with Section 2 to determine your Writing and LanguageTest score. \n􀁱 Add your ReadingTest score to your Writing and LanguageTest score. \n􀁲 Multiply that number by 10.This is your Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Section score. EXAMPLE: Keisha answered 29 of the 52 questions correctly on the SAT Reading Test and \n20 of the 44 questions correctly on the SAT Writing and Language Test. Using the table on page \n7, she calculates that she received an SAT Reading Test score of 27 and an SAT Writing and Language Test score of 23. She adds 27 to 23 (gets 50) and then multiplies by 10 to determine her SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Section score of 500. \nGET YOUR MATH SECTION SCORE \nCalculate your SAT Math Section score (it’s on a scale of 200–800) . \n􀁮 Count the number of correct answers you got on Section 3 (MathTest — No Calculator) and Section 4 (MathTest — Calculator). There is no penalty for wrong answers. \n􀁯 Add the number of correct answers you got on Section 3 (MathTest — No Calculator) and Section 4 (MathTest — Calculator) . \n􀁰 Use Raw Score ConversionTable 1: Section andTest Scores to turn your raw score into your Math Section score. \nGET YOUR TOTAL SCORE \nAdd your Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Section score to your Math Section score. The result is your total score on the SAT PracticeTest, on a scale of 400–","cbCaitnd3v0NYbzS","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaitnd3v0NYbzS","pdf",537902,"English","# Scores Overview\n# How to Calculate Your Practice Test Scores\n## Get Set Up\n## Get Section and Total Scores\n## Get Your Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Section Score\n## Get Your Math Section Score\n## Get Your Total Score\n## Get Subscores\n## Heart of Algebra\n## Problem Solving and Data Analysis\n## Passport to Advanced Math","[{\"question\":\"What do raw scores mean for SAT Practice Test #1 scoring?\",\"answer\":\"Raw scores are the number of questions answered correctly in each section.
