Thank you for your generous donations!  \nAttention Rising 8th Grade students and parents!!  \nPre HSPT Scores and HSPT Prep Course Registration, ACTION NEEDED ASAP:  \nScore reports for students who took the Pre HSPT will be emailed with the end of year Progress Reports, and a fact sheet with FAQ can be accessed here.  \nAdditionally, the Archdiocese of Baltimore has opened registration for a nine-week HSPT Prep Class for rising 8th graders, which will be held in the fall. This class will absolutely reach capacity and spots will only be guaranteed for families who register by June 24th. Last year, students who participated in the program scored 12 points higher than those students who were not in the program, so it is definitely an important opportunity to consider. The office will be closed on Fridays.  \nSummer Work and School Supply Lists  \nTeachers are currently working on preparing summer work (K-8) and supply lists for the 22-23 school year. The purpose of summer work is to help students retain the learning and growth that they have made throughout the year so that they are ready to hit the ground running when they return. To that end, it is better to spend time working on these assignments incrementally over the course of the summer rather than waiting until right before school returns to complete them. Summer work will be posted on SOTI Studies after June 9 , and you should look at the grade level that your child will be entering in the 22-23 school year. For example, a current kindergarten student will complete the summer work for the rising 1st graders. At the end of the summer, the summer work is turned in to their new teachers. All summer work is entered as a graded assignment in T1 .  \nSchool supply lists will also be posted on the school website.  \nNational Night Out  \nNational Night Out is a fun community event that we will be hosting once again on Tuesday, August 2nd. This national event was developed to promote police-community partnerships. We will have demonstrations and opportunities to get to know some of our local law enforcement and first responders-along with food, fun games for the kids and the opportunity to reconnect with friends before the school year starts.  \nSneak A Peek  \nWednesday, August 24 from 2-4 PM we will open our doors to welcome our families back for the new year.
