Since then, we’ve all gained new experiencesand learned something new, that’s also a reason why I am able to be writing this today. Let this be a reminder of students’ dedication and effort as well as of the proverb saying that hope dies last. Let this also be our present for you for this hopeful time of the year.
CONTENTS
􀁸 Nature and people
o Temperaments
o MBTI
o The Ocean
o Bonfire Night
􀁸 Film and Showbusiness
o Halloween (1978)
o Viper room
􀁸 Technology and videogames
o Devil May Cry 3 review
o How to manually dual boot ANY Linux distribution with your existing Windows installation
􀁸 Art corner
o Poetry
o The Christmas Carol
o Puns
􀁸 Stories
o Water and fire
􀁸 Recipes
o Cocoa biscuits
NATURE AND PEOPLE
TEMPERAMENTS
A TEMPERAMENT TEST FROM 1975
A while ago, I stumbled upon an old self-help book aimed at young people and while I found most of the advice to be outdated for this age, there was a topic that took me by surprise. The author talked about the 4 temperament types-sanguine, melancholic, choleric, and phlegmatic, which are commonly known till this day. Since he also enclosed a test, I thought to share.
“From learning about the four temperament types, we found out there only exist two common qualities: emotional susceptibility and emotional durability. All other traits stem from there. Let's then call common qualities base qualities , and the qualities that stem from those subsequent qualities.
Emotional susceptibility can be:
􀁸 Very wide,
􀁸 Wide,
􀁸 Narrow,
􀁸 Very narrow.
During your evaluation, answers to these and similar questions will be helpful:
Do I like lots of books or just a few?
Do I like to talk about anything or just certain topics?
Do I collect the most diverse objects or just a specific group?
Do I have a few friends of a wide circle of friends?
Do I get emotionally influenced (angry, happy... ) by most things or just a certain few?
With emotional durability, we also differentiate between four degrees:
􀁸 Very long-lasting,
􀁸 Long-lasting,
􀁸 Ephemeral,
􀁸 Very ephemeral.
As a tool, we might use these questions:
Do I feel happy for a long or short time after receiving a present?
Do I forget about my anger quickly or does it linger inside me for some time?
Does a compliment have a long-lasting or a short-term effect?
Do you feel anguished by failure for a long time or does it hardly faze you?
Do I have long-lived friendships or do I easily replace friends and acquaintances?
After evaluating the base traits, we can guess our temperament type by this chart.”

| | | Emotional susceptibility | |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | | very
wide/wide | narrow/very
narrow |
| durability | very long
lasting/long lasting | choleric | melancholic |
| | ephemeral/very
ephemeral | sanguine | phlegmatic |

Source: Werner Henning: Wer bin ich?
Student \\#1
MBTI
I bet most people have heard the strange abbreviations at some point.
INFJ, ENTP, ISTJ... but what do they mean?
MBTI is short for Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
There are 16 types in total, all of which are a combination of 4 out of 8 cognitive functions. Knowing your MBTI type helps you understand your behavior better – why you act the way you act around people or why you prefer one learning method over the other.
“There are 4 cognitive functions which determine your perceiving
abilities.”
Extraverted Sensing (Se)
Extraverted Sensing enables people to live in the moment. They usually don’t look back at things, or ahead. These people are really fast thinkers and stereotypically good at sports. However, they do things just for the thrill and tend not to consider any consequences. This can lead to them getting stuck living day to day with no bigger picture or a life plan.
Introverted Sensing (Si)
People using this cognitive function tend to be on top","cbCaieaagbQVk7ib","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaieaagbQVk7ib","pdf",2124956,25,"English","# Nature and People
## Temperaments
## MBTI
# Film and Showbusiness
## Halloween (1978)
## Viper Room
# Technology and Videogames
## Devil May Cry 3 Review
## Dual Boot Linux with Windows
# Art Corner
## Poetry
## The Christmas Carol
## Puns
# Stories
## Water and Fire
# Recipes
## Cocoa Biscuits","[{"question":"Which MBTI cognitive functions are discussed?","answer":"The magazine introduces eight cognitive functions: Extraverted Sensing (Se), Introverted Sensing (Si), Extraverted Intuition (Ne), Introverted Intuition (Ni), Extraverted Thinking (Te), and Introverted Thinking (Ti) as part of its explanation."}]","School Magazine Comes Back to Life - December 2022 | PDF",1789658956,39]
