Our scholarships help make the ASHK Examination more attainable and give more local university students an opportunity to advance their career. The most effective motivation is that the ASHK Examination could make a difference for them in job hunting upon graduation and thus for their future career development in the profession.  \nSince the ASHK Examination is only open to all ASHK members, the scholarship candidate must join our society as our student member in order to be eligible for the scholarship.  \nEligibility and Criteria  \nASHK shall select local universities that are strategically positioned to promote the ASHK Exams. The following local universities offering Actuarial Programmes will be granted the University Scholarships:  \nChinese University of Hong Kong  \nBBA in Insurance, Financial and Actuarial Analysis (Full-Time)  \nCity University of Hong Kong  \nBSc in Computational Mathematics (Full-Time)  \nHang Seng University of Hong Kong  \nBSc (Hons) in Actuarial Studies and Insurance (Full-Time)  \nHong Kong Polytechnic University  \nMSc in Applied Mathematics for Science and Technology  \n(Actuarial and Investment Science) (Full-Time)  \nThe Hong Kong University of Science and Technology  \nBSc in Mathematics (Minor in Actuarial Studies)(Full-Time)  \nUniversity of Hong Kong  \nBSc in Actuarial Science (Full-Time)  \n❖ The applicant must be a current full-time enrolled university student in an undergraduate/postgraduate degree program as stated above.  \n❖ Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible to be nominated by their university.  \n❖ Available to new candidates only. The scholarship recipient must be a first-time examination candidate.  \n❖ Up to 30 scholarships will be awarded among universities for each exam sitting.. First come first serve.  \n❖ Scholarship candidates are by nomination. The university may consider the following factors when nominating appropriate individuals for the scholarship: (i) interest in actuarial career, (ii) academic performance,(iii) financial needs, or (iv) other relevant considerations.  \n❖ ASHK shall award scholarships in its sole discretion.
