Intent \n1. The Schematic Design (SD) phase submission should progress the selected concept from the \nConcept (CP) Phase Approval and provide additional detail to adequately define scope, schedule, and budget. The intent is to set scope, schedule and budget at the Schematic Design Phase Approval and hold these throughout the remaining design phases. \nB. Deliverables \n1. The SD phase Submission must include plans and a report that includes a sufficient level of detail (see Section 2) to capture the overall scope, schedule, and budget for the project. The following terms must also be met: \na. The consultant will have substantially completed investigations and destructive testing needed to fully define scope and cost. \nb. The anticipated construction logistics shall be sufficiently developed so that the intended sequencing of work and related surge (if necessary) is understood. The required cost and schedule elements of the surge effort should also be developed and understood. \nc. The design and construction schedules must be well defined, reflect the realities of the project and be understood by all parties, including the campus. \nd. The phase submission must satisfy all comments made on the previous phase report. \n2.
