In these instances only the key grade scaled boundary marks are shown for each component as only these are set by the awarding committee (ie. grades A, C and F for untiered units, grades A, C and D for Higher tier units and grade C and F for Foundation tier units) . These scaled marks are then added to obtain the equivalent unit-level grade boundaries, at which point the intermediate boundary marks are calculated for the unit as a whole. Where both unit and component grade boundary marks are reported, the unit is listed first, followed by its components (shaded and italicised) . \nComponent grade boundaries for the Functional Mathematics unit of GCSE Use of Mathematics (Pilot) are summarised in a separate table at the end of this document. \nUniform mark grade boundaries can be found in Appendix A of the Uniform Marks Leaflet For further information, [contact](contact Research@aqa.org.uk)[ ](contact Research@aqa.org.uk)[Research@aqa.org.uk](contact Research@aqa.org.uk). \nPublished 9 March 2011 \nCopyright © 2011 AQA and its licensors.
