We strive for excellence on a daily basis to ensure that children are responsible, resilient and ready to learn. Building upon our core values, we ensure that we develop children’s strength of character by designing our curriculum around key themes (UN Sustainability Goals), which supports children’s global development, whilst also allowing children to make meaningful connections within and across our curriculum. Wider curriculum subjects are linked to core values and key themes, with some subjects being blocked throughout the year to allow children to explore concepts, ideas and events in real depth. We use language rich, core texts as a vehicle to deliver our curriculum and to support our children in mastering the key knowledge and skills required – each subject has carefully crafted progression documents and implementation guides to support the delivery of our curriculum.
