wacko if you stoppedwriting your books.—Stephanie Z. \nOnce I start one [of your books],I never put it downuntil it is done.Your books make me feel like I amreally in the place that Jack and Annie are in.WhenI read one of your books,I learn so many interestingnew facts.Your books are the best!—Eliza D. \n# Parents and teachers loveMagic Tree House books,too!\n\nI am the mother of four young sons who arethoroughly enjoying the adventures of Jack andAnnie! We eagerly await each new release!Wealso use your books as Christmas and birthdaygifts for friends and cousins—a welcome gift forthe children and their parents!—C.Anders \nWe overheard the children in the schoolyardtalking and laughing about“special friends.”Upon further investigation, those friends turnedout to be none other than Jack and Annie.Thesechildren have become devoted fans of yourbooks. As parents,it is inspiring to see ourchildren so absorbed in books. \n—M.Knepper and P.Contessa \nThe library soon will have a new to see their enthusiasm andtheir eagerness to read the books.—R.Locke \nSince we are doing a unit on the solar system Ichose Midnight on the Moon(Magic Tree House \n\\#8).To my delight, this reading andan easy-to-read book is a hard one to findThank you for doing it so well.—A.Doolittle \n# Dear Readers,\n\nSome time ago,I wrote a biography ofGeorge Washington. While doing my researchfor that book,I began to greatly admire him.Ever since,I've wanted to“visit\"him again.Happily,Revolutionary War on Wednesdayfinally gave me the chance to do just that. \nSal Murdocca, the wonderfiul artist for theMagic Tree House series, and I thought itwould be fun to model our cover after one ofAmerica's most famous paintings: \nWashington Crossing the Delaware, paintedby Emanuel Leutze in Germany in 1851.Thishuge painting now hangs in the MetropolitanMuseum of Art in New York City. \nWe'd like to point out several errors inLeutze's painting(and our cover!),however:First,a general would never have stood up ona rough ride like that.Second, the boat in thepainting is much smaller than the onesWashington actually used. And third, the \nfirst American flag with thirteen stars, representing the thirteen colonies, was notactually designed until some time afterWashington crossed the Delaware. \nStill,we love the painting and thought itwould be fun to put Jack and Annie into itfor our cover. \nHave a good time on your journey withJack,Annie, and George Washington.Justrem","cbCaiuQv7V3fR9TN","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiuQv7V3fR9TN","pdf",3131583,100,"English","# Here's what kids have to
