It explains how to verify the correct server and database names via Relate Accounts, and outlines advanced steps for enabling SQL Server client protocols such as Named Pipes and TCP/IP. The guide then walks through creating an ODBC connection using Windows system tools, covering required fields and configuration steps.","RELATE ACCOUNTS PRODUCTION \nODBC SETUP GUIDE \nSUPPORT SERVICES \nRelate is committed to strong customer services and satisfaction. This is because the Server name or/and Database name is incorrect, see Figure 1 below \nFigure 1 \nSolution: Go to a machine that can login to RAP. When logged into RAP, you need to Select Tools > Change Database. This will display the Change Database window. The correct Server name and Database name will be shown here. Take note of the Server Name and Database name and input on the machine displaying the “Could not connect to RAP Database”message. \nIf the issue is still not resolved, see Advanced Trouble Shooting. \nAdvanced Trouble Shooting \nEnabling Named Pipes and TCP/IP: \nGo to the Start button on your computer. \nClick on the Run button in the Start Menu. The Run window will be displayed. In the text field type “cliconfg”, as shown in Figure 2 below. Then click the OK button. \nFigure 2 \nThe SQL Server Client Network Utility window will be displayed (See Figure 3) . Make sure Named Pipes and TCP/IP are enabled protocols. \nFigure 3 \nEnabling Protocols: \nHighlight Named Pipes and click the Enable button. Named Pipes will now be displayed in the “Enabled protocols by order:” list. Do the same for TCP/IP. \nTick the “Enabled shared memory protocol” and Click OK. \nCreatin","cbCaitpAp0U9J5f3","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaitpAp0U9J5f3","pdf",440405,4,1,12,"English","en",105,"# ODBC Setup Guide\n## Support Services\n## Trouble Shooting\n## Advanced Trouble Shooting\n## Creating an ODBC connection","[{\"question\":\"What should I check when I cannot connect to the RAP database?\",\"answer\":\"Confirm that the Server name and Database name are correct.
