God told how Aaron and his sons were to serve as priests in the tent of meeting.  \nBut Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, decided to offer a sacrifice that was not commanded by the Lord.  \nAt the altar of incense, both men offered unauthorized fire before the Lord.  \nFire came out from the Lord and burned up Nadab and Abihu. God punished them for disobeying His commands.  \nThe Israelite community mourned the death of Nadab and Abihu. But Aaron and his two remaining sons could not leave the court of the tent to mourn because they still had anointing oil on themselves.  \nMoses told his brother Aaron,“This is what the Lord meant when he said, ‘Among those who approach me, I will show myself holy.
