But God was there and he  \nthought about making the world.  \nOn the first day God said, \"Let there be light!\" And there was light. God saw that the light was good. God named the light\"day\" and he named the darkness \"night. \"  \nOn the second day God said, \"Let the water divide in two!\" Some of the water was above the sky, and some of the water was below they sky. And God saw that it was good.  \nOn the third day God said, \"Let the dryland appear . \" He named the dry land earth and named the waters seas . God saw that it was good. Then God said, \"Let the earth produce all kinds of plants . Every plant will  \ngrow its own kind of seeds and fruits .” And God saw that all this was good.  \nOn the fourth day God said, \"Let the lights in the sky be separated into day and night.” The brighter light was to rule the day and the smaller light to rule the night. He also made the stars . And God saw that it was good.  \nOn the fifth day God said, \"Let the water be filled with living things—big ones and little ones. And let birds fly in the air above the earth—big ones and little ones . \" God saw that this was good.  \nOn the sixth day God said, \"Let us make a man and a woman . And let them look after all the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals . \" And he blessed them . God saw everything and it was very good. On the seventh day God rested from all his work. He blessed the seventh day and made it holy.
