In this program, students will gain the knowledge and experience needed to provide care for individuals with autism and other related behavior problems in a home or group clinical setting. \nProgram includes clear instruction, video models, and interactive application activities creating a comprehensive, interesting, and practical RBT Training experience. There are quizzes at the end of each topic, controlled Instructor led pace, study tools to review concepts and vocabulary to help with content mastery. It is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for the RBT® credential. \nThis 90 hour training also includes all RBT® task list items and RBT® guidelines for professional conduct and basic understanding of using the Central Reach Software Program. Upon successful completion of the 90 hour program over 4 weeks of training, students will be eligible to take the certification exams. Students also receive a certificate for clinical hours of the training program. \nBehavioral health programs teach students how to assist licensed counselors and therapists working in mental health clinics and other inpatient settings. Such training usually comes in the form of certificate. Both programs generally require applicants to have a high school diploma and volunteer work can put you ahead of the competition. Now let's learn more about these programs. \nCertificates in Behavioral Health \nThe RBT certificate program provides students with a basic overview of the field and trains students to assist people with social, personal, mental health or family problems. Such a program is designed to prepare future behavioral health technicians, case managers and family services advocates. \nStudents enrolled in the program learn the basics of group and individual counseling, child advocacy, case report writing and communication skills. Core courses are divided into theory, practical training and experiences in service learning. Topics include: \n􀁸 An Overview of RBT – Registered Behavior Technicians \n􀁸 Autism Spectrum Disorder \n􀁸 Measurement and Data Collection \n􀁸 Assessment and Skills Acquisition \n􀁸 Measurements of Progress \n􀁸 Behavior Assessment and Reduction \n􀁸 Ethics Guidelines \n􀁸 Clinical – video series and hands on with clients with our RBT Agency Partner \nBenefits of RBT training at the T.Byrd Center \nMost RBT training programs are just 40 hours of pre-recorded instruction. While some programs allow interactive assignment completion, however feedback is typically automated and general. There is no opportunity for practical application or immediate responses to questions and concerns. \nWhile this meets the minimum 40 hour training requirements, there is no opportunity for clinical or competency assessments, participants still feel inadequately prepared for employment as an RBT and usually score lower on fidelity assessments an","cbCaimWoNB3WDtDY","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaimWoNB3WDtDY","pdf",1092235,"English","# Essential Information\n## Program Details\n## Registered Behavioral Technician Training Program\n## Certificates in Behavioral Health\n## Benefits of RBT Training at the T.Byrd Center\n## Course Materials\n## Career Information\n## Certification","[{\"question\":\"What are the program length and time structure for the RBT training?\",\"answer\":\"The program totals 90 hours: 50 hours of classroom training and 40 hours of clinical experience.
