It explains when to roll due to magical mishaps or powerful items, and offers advice for sandbox pacing by reading results between sessions. This could be the result of a magic mishap or ability of some powerful item (Well of Many Worlds, Amulet of the Planes, Staff of Power, etc.) Of course, the DM might just pick the plane by his choice and choose one which \nserves best for the story. \nBut if you are tending to more sandbox adventures, and eager to explore what Multiverse has to offer for you and your players, these tables will be of huge help. Be mindful, however, unless you are extremely knowledgeable in the planar lore and really good at improvising, roll on this table should occur at the end of the gaming session, so you have time to read about the place your party ended up and come up with the next leg of the story. \nIn addition, some planes have tables for their layers. You can roll on them if you want further randomize and see where your party ended up instead of picking the most interesting layer for you / the one which makes the most sense for your story. \nIf you rolled the same plane your characters are currently in, roll on the table one more time. \n􀀦􀁘􀁖􀁗􀁒􀁐􀁌􀁝􀁌􀁑􀁊 􀁗􀁋􀁈 􀁗􀁄􀁅􀁏􀁈 \nIf you have your own homebrewed planes in addition to the conventional ones in your world, you can add them to the table by lowering probability on one of the groups and adding your own plane with its own probability. Currently, the logic behind the table is the following: \n Material plane has a probability of 6 because it's very likely for the characters to end up on their home plane if they teleport from somewhere else \n Its echoes, Shadowfell and Feywild have a probability of 4 \n Elemental Planes also have a probability of 4 \n Energy planes have a probability of 1 because they are both extremely deadly places \n Transitive planes (Astral and Ethereal) have a probability of 5 because they have a lot of portals to other planes \n Outer Planes all have a probability of 3 \n The Outlands (Sigil) has a probability of 5 because it is the center of the Multiverse \n Far Realm has a probability of 1 because it’s an alien plane outside of the known cosmology \n􀀦􀁕􀁈􀁄􀁗􀁌􀁑􀁊 􀁜􀁒􀁘􀁕 􀁒􀁚􀁑 􀁗􀁄􀁅􀁏􀁈 􀁉􀁒􀁕 􀁜􀁒􀁘􀁕 \nIf you want to create a table for your cosmology, you need to think about how likely is teleportation to each of the planes. Generally speaking, the harder it is to get to the plane/layer by conventional means of planar travel, the lower probability of rolling it up should be. If the plane is extremely deadly for visitors, you might want to lower its probability as well. \n3 \n􀀳􀁏􀁄􀁑􀁈􀁖 􀁒􀁉 􀁗􀁋􀁈 􀀷􀁕􀁄􀁇􀁌􀁗􀁌􀁒􀁑􀁄􀁏 􀀦􀁒􀁖􀁐􀁒􀁏􀁒􀁊􀁜 \nd100 Additional table?
