The game focuses on practicing division facts up to 10x10. Players take turns solving division problems to place colored counters on a hexagonal board, aiming to be the first to create an unbroken path from the Earth to the Moon. The game encourages mental math proficiency, allows for peer-based verification, and includes variations to increase challenge. It serves as an engaging tool for classroom or home learning environments, helping children build speed and accuracy in their division skills through interactive play.",{"@graph":14,"@context":73},[15,34,56],{"@type":16,"itemListElement":17},"BreadcrumbList",[18,23,27,31],{"item":19,"name":20,"@type":21,"position":22},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",1,{"item":24,"name":25,"@type":21,"position":26},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/","Document",2,{"item":28,"name":29,"@type":21,"position":30},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/exam/","Exam",3,{"item":32,"name":10,"@type":21,"position":33},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/race-to-the-moon-division-facts-to-10x10/635983/",4,{"url":32,"name":10,"@type":35,"image":36,"author":41,"headline":10,"publisher":44,"fileFormat":47,"inLanguage":8,"description":12,"dateModified":48,"datePublished":49,"encodingFormat":47,"isAccessibleForFree":50,"interactionStatistic":51},"DigitalDocument",{"url":37,"@type":38,"width":39,"height":40},"https://docshare.wps.com/thumbnails/race-to-the-moon-division-facts-to-10x10/635983.png","ImageObject",300,407,{"name":42,"@type":43},"Dipper","Person",{"url":19,"name":45,"@type":46},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-10-30","2026-10-22",true,{"@type":52,"interactionType":53,"userInteractionCount":55},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":54},"ViewAction",7,{"@type":57,"mainEntity":58},"FAQPage",[59,65,69],{"name":60,"@type":61,"acceptedAnswer":62},"What is the goal of the Race to the Moon game?","Question",{"text":63,"@type":64},"The primary goal is to be the first player to complete an unbroken path of counters from the Earth to the Moon on the game board.","Answer",{"name":66,"@type":61,"acceptedAnswer":67},"How many players are required for this game?",{"text":68,"@type":64},"The game is designed for 2 or 3 players.",{"name":70,"@type":61,"acceptedAnswer":71},"What should happen if a player gets the answer to a division problem wrong?",{"text":72,"@type":64},"If a player answers incorrectly, they are not allowed to place a counter on the board. You can use the multiples lists at the top of the page to help you. \n• Say the calculation and the answer. \n• Your partner will check in their head (or on a calculator) . \n• If you are right, you place a counter. Then it is your partner’s turn. If you are wrong, you don’t get to place a counter. \n• The winner is the first person to complete an unbroken path of counters \nfrom the Earth to the Moon (path can go across, down, diagonally) .
