Memorizing the formulas helps you perform math questions quicker, you can avoid spending precious time trying to find the formula you need.  \n2. Ensure you can perform basic calculations without a calculator: You’ll need to confidently perform basic calculations like multiplying and dividing or sketching a graph of a line in the no-calculator section. Ensure you’re prepared to do so!  \n3. Get familiar with linear equations: Linear equations make up a substantial chunk of SAT Math. If you’re struggling with these types of questions before the SAT, they should be the focus of your math studies. You’ll frequently run into linear graphs, equations, and word problems involving linear equations.  \n4. Ensure your calculator is allowed: Thankfully, the digital SAT has a new built-in calculator you can use for the test.
