Failure) to follow the instructions may invalidate your warranty.  \nThis manual contains important information about the installation, operation and safe use of this product.  \nThis information should be given to the owner and/ or operator of this equipment.  \nQT-LED  \nINSTALLATION GUIDE  \nQTE-140 INSTALLATION  \nDESCRIPTION – The QTE-140 range is a submersible marine light with a universal 20 degree ball adjustment. There are two types of insert 316 stainless steel and 5083 aluminium which have been machined so they can be welded flush to the hull at the appropriate locations. All weldins are machined from 3.2 Lloyds certificated material and individually stamped. Final adjustment of the beam angle to the horizontal is carried out from inside the hull. See instructional information below.  \nLENS FITTING INSTRUCTIONS  \nRemove the blanking plate and check the insert (1) lens landing surfaces are clean and apply a suitable silicone grease to the gaskets (2) . Fit the lens (3), gaskets  \n(2) and lens retaining ring (4) . Hand tighten the cap head bolts (6) making sure the lens retaining ring (4) is square. Torque the bolts to 7Nm (4 . 5ft/lbs) in the sequence shown above, check the ring again and re-torque the screws again to the same setting.  \nLED PROJECTOR FITTING INSTRUCTIONS  \nAll bolts and nuts are torqued to 7Nm (4 .5ft/lbs)  \nThe LED heatsink (8) with the orings (7) fitted is inserted into the insert (1) and secured with the two M5 bolts(10) . The LED ball can then be adjusted. The pressure test was carried out on the water front (water side) face to 100 bar.  \nInsert welded to the hull shell plating  \nPrimary barrier with glass and retaining ring  \nSecondary containment is shown below shaded with he primary barrier glass and securing ring removed and this containment barrier is bolted to the insert using the bolts.
