Research Cell of PCON organized an InternationalWorkshop on Mixed Methods Research on 19th ofDecember 2023 at the college auditorium.Prof.Vineetha Jacob,Principal &Organizing Chairpersonwelcomed the gathering and Dr.Nebu GeorgeThomas MDS PhD,Pushpagiri College of DentalSciences,&Scientist,Pushpagiri Research Centre,Tiruvalla,inaugurated the event with a stimulatinginaugural address and lighting of the lamp.Prof.Sr.Mary Jyothi OSS,Vice Principal (admin.),IQAC&Research cell coordinator proposed the Vote ofThanks.Dr.Vishnu Renjith,Lecturer and ProgramDirector,School of Nursing &Midwifery,RoyalCollege of Surgeons,Ireland led various sessions ofmixed method research which consisted of lectures,discussions,and hands-on exercises that helpedparticipants gain a deep Collaboration withUK NMC,Pushpagiri College of Nursing IQACand SSGP Unit organized an offline workshop withHumber &North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board,NMC,UK on topic Objective Structured ClinicalExamination(OSCE)at the College Auditorium on10 November,2023.The workshop includedvarious session like 'Introduction to UK Nursingpractice'and UK NMC OSCE,OSCE demonstra-tion sessions,Information on Bridge course fortransition to UK and plenary session includingquestions,closing remarks and certification.OSCESkill on various procedures like Visual InfusionPhlebitis(VIP)score,IV Flush,Wound Assess-ment,ANTT Wound dressing and Peak RespiratoryFlow Rate(PEFR)were demonstrated.Theresource persons of the session were EmmaGeorge,Assistant Chief
