They welcomed the new operational enhancements for client countries to help deliver a rapid response, while strengthening linkages with upstream preparedness efforts. Directors underscored the importance of the WB playing a convening role in helping shape the global approach to crisis preparedness. They urged Management to continue reducing response times for all types of crisis response financing and encouraged extending all crisis response coverage for all clients, especially for IDA countries and those experiencing vulnerability, fragility, conflict, and violence.  \nDirectors welcomed the development of a dashboard to monitor the status of Rapid Response Options (RRO), emphasizing the importance of robust reporting mechanisms to the Board, they asked for further details on Management’s plan to track, monitor and report on progress. Directors welcomed Management’s commitment to conduct a review of the toolkit after three years of implementation and report findings to the Board, and to bring the first few RROs with CERPs to the Board for review. Directors appreciated Management’s efforts to assess the liquidity and exposure management implications of the crisis response financing flexibilities, and highlighted the importance of monitoring these aspects as the new toolkit is rolled out.
