Candidates can be students attending or graduating from an educational institution or persons who, through work or military experience in the field, seek to obtain credentials that acknowledge their competencies. As an exam proctor, you play a key role in ensuring that all candidates have the same testing experience and in protecting the integrity and security of the exam content. \nNHA relies heavily on both the leadership of each test administration site and our Proctors to help us maintain the security of our assessments and to ensure all candidates have the same testing experience. Any Proctor who may be proctoring an NHA assessment must familiarize his/herself with the procedures described in this Handbook to ensure a standardized testing experience for all candidates. \nAs a Proctor, you must actively monitor the candidates taking the NHA assessment at all times. Candidates may not engage in other activities, such as reading a newspaper or using a cell phone during the testing process. Proper monitoring will help deter test misconduct, including cheating or theft of exam content. Additionally, a Proctor is responsible for ensuring the testing environment is safe, comfortable and conducive to undisturbed test taking. \nEligibility \nEach Proctor must satisfy the following eligibility requirements: \n• Age 18 or older; \n• Free from conflict of interest (see below); \n• Capable of fully monitoring the examination room, including being able to move about the room to fully hear and see all test takers (unless partnered with another Proctor capable of performing these duties); \n• Able to read and provide instructions to test takers in English (unless ","cbCaidItp8MxBlcB","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaidItp8MxBlcB","pdf",162540,16,"English","# Introduction to Proctoring\n## Eligibility\n## Conflict of Interest\n## Confidential Information\n## Proctor Training and Oath\n## Create an Account\n## Complete the Proctor Registration\n## Guided Review of the Proctor Handbook\n## Proctor Oath\n## Exam Administration Rules\n## Study the Proctor Process Guide\n## Pre-Exam Administration Duties and Rules\n## Rules and Duties During Exam Administration\n## Post-Examination Responsibilities\n## Report of Testing Irregularity","[{\"question\":\"What is the main purpose of the NHA Proctor Handbook?\",\"answer\":\"It provides requirements and procedures for serving as a proctor for NHA certification examinations in allied healthcare fields, including safeguarding exam content and ensuring a consistent testing experience.\"},{\"question\":\"What eligibility requirements must an NHA proctor meet?\",\"answer\":\"A proctor must be at least 18, free from conflict of interest, able to fully monitor the exam room and instructions, and able to operate the NHA computer-based Certification Portal and related equipment (unless partnered with another proctor who can perform those tasks).\"},{\"question\":\"What kinds of conflicts of interest are disallowed for NHA proctors?\",\"answer\":\"Conflicts include competing professional/financial interests, responsibilities tied to an employer that clash with proctor duties, and personal relationships between a proctor and a candidate; NHA also lists specific disqualifying roles such as being an instructor or having key development responsibilities for the relevant course content.\"}]","Proctor Handbook - Eligibility, Training, and Exam Administration | PDF",1791031204]
