This discipleship is accomplished through a series of rotations in the different ministries of the church. Each quarter, interns will work through a different area of ministry, including church operations, children’s and youth ministry, college ministry, congregational care, and evangelism. These rotations will be joined together by an ongoing mentoring relationship with members of the pastoral team that will focus primarily on calling, character, and leadership.  \nQualifications:  \n- Must be a current or recent seminary student.  \n- A deep love for Christ, the Church, and the gospel; marked by humility and a willingness to learn.  \n- A desire to pursue full-time pastoral ministry  \n- General agreement with the Westminster Standards.  \n- A collaborative and correctable spirit.  \nAppointment:  \nPastoral Interns are appointed by the Session of Proclamation Presbyterian Church.  \nKey Responsibilities:  \n1. Discipleship  \n- Attend and actively participate in weekly and monthly meetings with members of the pastoral team to develop the interns as future pastoral leaders.  \n- Attend and learn from staff and session meetings, as available and appropriate.  \n2. Teaching  \n- Lead and teach across the ministries in the church, including, but not limited to, children’s ministry, youth ministry, and adult Sunday School.  \n3. Visitations  \n- Accompany pastoral team members in visiting saints in the hospital and saints at home.  \n4. Preaching and Worship Leadership  \n- Preach approximately 5 sermons, predominantly in the Evening Service.  \n- Assist in worship after being trained and developed.  \n5.
