Goals and Objectives for the semester will be reviewed during the midterm CPAST meeting.  \n• Any absence from student teaching must be reported to your supervisor immediately. Extended absences may require that you make up the days at the end of the semester.  \n• Student teaching in the fall semester begins when the school opens (student teachers usually need to be there at least a week early to complete pre student teaching hours as well) and in the spring student teachers begin when Xavier returns for spring semester. For spring semester, count 16 weeks from your first week of class to find your last week.  \n• Student teachers take the spring break of the school and not that of Xavier University.  \n• It is your responsibility to convey the assignments associated with student teaching and/or the seminar to your cooperating teacher in a timely manner.
