To help millions of students preparing for TOEFL iBT every year and to provide “mock test”, ETS is now launching TOFEL Practice Online (TPO) as the official test preparation web site for the test. Candidates can purchase the TPO or register the TPO Practice Session through the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority. Details of order placing for TPO and registration are as follows: \n1. INTRODUCTION \n(1) TOEFL PRACTICE ONLINE (TPO) \nTo help millions of students preparing for TOEFL iBT, ETS is now launching TPO as the official test preparation web site for the test. \nMain Features of TPO \n􀂋 An exclusive test preparation product which offers a variety of TOEFL iBT practice tests, including the previously tested TOEFL iBT questions. \n􀂋 A unique opportunity for candidates to practise applying all the 4 skills of English Language (i.e. Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking) to answer test questions online. \n􀂋 Provides students with instant scores and feedback directly from the TOEFL examination board. \n􀂋 The score reports contain information such as the total number of correct responses, scaled scores, performance rating of the reading and speaking sessions, and feedback analysis that describes the students’ performance level in each skilled area. \n􀂋 After completing the test, students can review their total scores and scores of individual sessions. \n(2) TPO Practice Session \nTPO Practice Session is a TOEFL iBT “mock test” opportunity offered by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) . \nMain Features of TPO Practice Session \n􀂋 Tips on online registration of TOEFL iBT and selection of exam centers \n􀂋 A mock test conducted at one of the live TOEFL iBT test centers, in which the applicants can experience going through an internet-based exam with past TOEFL papers and actually try the specially designed headsets and microphones used in the Speaking and Listening sessions of the live tests. Coaching on the use of the test equipment will be provided. \n􀂋 The 5-hour Practice Session consists of a half-hour teaching and a 4.5-hour mock test. \n􀂋 The TPO can be brought home by the participants for further practice and review of their score reports. \n2.
