The article discusses the benefits of using machine learning algorithms for flight delay prediction and highlights some of the most commonly used techniques and algorithms in this field. Additionally, the paper presents some real-world applications of flight delay prediction, such as improved resource management, customer service, and safety.  \nFlight delays can significantly impact the aviation industry, causing inconvenience for passengers and affecting the financial performance of airlines and airports. In fact, according to a report by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), flight delays and cancellations cost airlines and passengers more than $26 billion each year in the United States alone.  \nThe aviation industry has increasingly turned to data science and machine learning to address this challenge to predict flight delays and proactively manage resources.
