Please keep the following cautions in mind: \n• The validity of conclusions about student groups depends, in part, on the accuracy of data reported by students at the time of testing (such as gender, race/ethnicity), which are not verified by ACT. \n• Numerous social, economic, and instructional factors are known to contribute to educational achievement. Relatively few of these factors are represented in these reports. Conclusions about educational programs or policies at your school, based on student achievement, should be supported by information from additional sources. \n• In making decisions or drawing conclusions based on differences among groups of students, caution must be employed when the number of students in any group is small. Aggregate measures of student achievement are less precise for smaller groups. \n• When sharing results with others, identify the population represented by the report. For example, conclusions regarding your entire class are appropriate only if all, or nearly all, of your students participated in the program, or you have determined that those who took the test are representative of the class as a whole. \n• The predicted ACT score ranges assume that students will take the ACT test in the spring of 11th grade and have typical academic growth. For students who take PreACT 9 Secure, predicted PreACT score ranges assume that students will take the PreACT one year after taking PreACT 9 Secure. \nOVERVIEW \nThe PreACT 9 Secure and PreACT Secure Programs \nTests \nPreACT 9 Secure and PreACT Secure include multiple-choice test sections—English, math, reading, and science. A complete description of the tests and program components is provided in Appendix A of this Interpretive Guide. \nScore Scale for PreACT 9 Secure \nPreACT 9 Secure","cbCaiiNmx8xVEuy8","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiiNmx8xVEuy8","pdf",207772,21,"English","# PreACT Secure Test Sections at a Glance\n# Introduction\n# Overview\n## PreACT 9 Secure and PreACT Secure Programs\n## Score Scale for PreACT 9 Secure\n## Score Scale for PreACT Secure\n## National Norms\n## Student Information\n## Supplemental Local Items\n# PreACT 9 Secure and PreACT Secure Reports\n## Online Reporting\n## Understanding PreACT 9 Secure and PreACT Secure Reports\n## Interpreting Results\n## Understanding Individual Student Reports\n## ACT College Readiness Benchmarks\n## PreACT Readiness Benchmarks and Levels\n## Predicted ACT Score Ranges\n## Progress Toward the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate\n# Additional Information\n## Understanding Your Summary Reports\n## College and Career Readiness Standards\n# Appendix\n## Overview of ACT Assessments\n## PreACT 9 Secure and PreACT Secure Test Sections","[{\"question\":\"What kinds of reports does the guide help users interpret?\",\"answer\":\"It focuses on individual student score reports, roster report data, and summary reports containing aggregated information provided as a standard service.\"},{\"question\":\"How should users interpret group-level conclusions?\",\"answer\":\"The guide cautions that findings depend on the accuracy of student-reported data that is not verified by ACT, and it notes that many contributing factors are not represented in these reports.
