The audio is delivered via a secure URL and is intended for paper-based testing. It includes audio of the written directions, test questions, and response choices.  \nThe static text identifies the test form and subject area test. Pre-recorded audio does not include the test-day verbal instructions.  \nThis document gives guidance on accessing, using, and troubleshooting pre-recorded audio with the ACT products listed in the banner above.  \nHardware/Playback Devices  \nFor all tests:  \n• Use a desktop computer, laptop, or Chromebook with internet access.  \n• Ensure that a compatible internet browser is installed on the device. ACT recommends Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.  \n• Check that each examinee can control the playback of their own audio content.  \n• Check that each examinee has headphones that are compatible with the device.  \nNote: If headphones are not available, examinees must test individually.  \nPre-Recorded Audio Delivery  \nIf pre-recorded audio is authorized or requested for an examinee, ACT will send a confirmation email to the test coordinator approximately 10 days PRIOR to the test event (if materials were requested by the published deadline) . The confirmation email  \ncontains login credentials and instructions for accessing online pre-recorded audio via a secure website.  \nUse instructions within the Accessibility Supports Guide or administration manuals for test day administration.  \nNotes:  \n• The test directions are specific to the oral presentation mode and will not match the test directions in the printed booklet.  \n• Information that applies to ALL tests is found at the beginning of the first test. Specific directions for each test are on the first track of that test.  \nTrack Navigation  \n(See Navigation Using the Keyboard diagram below.)  \n• Each section is divided into tracks, or chapters, so examinees can repeat a question or set of response choices without listening to more text than necessary.  \n{ Each question is on one track and the response choices are on a separate track.  \n{ Most passages are broken into tracks by paragraph.  \n• The program automatically moves from one track to the next.
