ACT score ranges from 1-36. \nWhat do your scores mean? \nYour score is between 1(the lowest possible score) and 35 (the highest score possible) . Pre-ACT takes the number of questions you got right on each test and translates it into a number between 1 and 35. Just like grades, your scores tell you how you did on each test. \nYou will see 6 scores on your score report: \n1. Composite: the average of the English, math, reading, and science test scores \n2. Math subscore \n3. Science Subscore \n4. STEM (average of math and science scores) \n5. English subscore \n6. Reading subscore \nYour Predicted ACT Composite Score Range \nYour Pre-ACT scores can be used to predict how you are likely to do if you take the ACT as an 11th grader. \nYou can use these predicted score ranges to see if you are on track to achieve the scores you want by the time you take the ACT later in high school. \nSome examples of College Minimum ACT requirements \nUniversity of Missouri(Mizzou), minimum for automatic entry is 24, scores less than this beginning at 17+ are considered along with GPA. \nNorthwest Missouri State University(Maryville) no ACT requirement but they want to see a 20 to have a chance of being accepted, GPA does play a factor. \nDuring PEAK Covid, most schools waived the ACT requirement for admission, \nhowever; schools are reverting back to this traditional requirement. Also to be eligible for some college scholarships, you must have an ACT score. \nWhat if you aren’t planning on going to college? \n-Are you applying to a military academy like West Point, Naval Academy, or Air Force Academy? They require an ACT or SAT score to consider admission. \n-Technical schools have their own ACT requirements for specific program admission. \n-Community colleges, such as St. Louis Community College and Jefferson College, may use your ACT score to help place you in classes and/or admit you to the program you are applying for. \nThe bar graph helps you to see which of these subjects were your strongest and weakest. Looking at your areas of strength/weakness will help you know what you need to study and prepare for the ACT. \nNext to each subject area is the number of questions you got right ina category and the total number of questions. \nThe report also shows the percent of questions you answered correctly. \nBuilding Your Skills \nThe back of your Student Report describes ideas for building your skills and knowledge even further in the different subject areas. \nThese suggestions are based on your own scores and intended to help you strengthen your skills.","cbCaiuCtT73uqHHJ","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiuCtT73uqHHJ","pdf",335569,"English","# Understanding Your Pre-ACT Results\n## What Your Score Report Tells You\n## Information to Know About the Pre-ACT\n## What Do Your Scores Mean?\n## Your Predicted ACT Composite Score Range\n## Some Examples of College Minimum ACT Requirements\n## If You Aren’t Planning on Going to College\n## Building Your Skills","[{\"question\":\"What key components are included in a Pre-ACT score report?\",\"answer\":\"A Pre-ACT score report includes the Pre-ACT score, predicted ACT score ranges, college and career readiness benchmarks, detailed subscores in math, science, English, and reading, item response analysis, and improvement suggestions.\"},{\"question\":\"How does Pre-ACT scoring translate correct answers into a score?\",\"answer\":\"Pre-ACT uses the number of questions answered correctly on each test and converts it into a score between 1 and 35, reflecting performance similarly to grades.\"},{\"question\":\"How can Pre-ACT scores be used to predict future ACT results?\",\"answer\":\"The report uses Pre-ACT results to predict the ACT composite score range a student is likely to achieve if they take the ACT as an 11th grader, helping students see whether they are on track for target scores.\"}]","Pre-ACT Score Information - Understanding Your Score Report | PDF",25]
