This examination is required of all candidates for admission into an educator preparation program unless candidates meet SAT or ACT exemption criteria listed below.  \nThe SBE approved to adjust the Praxis® Core subtest exams for Writing and Mathematics.  \nThe required score for the Writing subtest was adjusted from 162 to 158.  \nThe required score for the Mathematics subtest was adjusted from 150 to 142.  \nThe required scores for the two subtests were adjusted by one conditional standard error of measurement as determined by the Educational Testing Service.  \nThe required score for the Reading subtest of the Praxis® Core exam remains unchanged at 156.
