LAB-DAY  \nBOOMSTICK  \nHe ’s Wiz and I ’m Boomstick .  \nWIZ  \nAnd it ’s our job to analyze their weapons , armor , and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle .  \nPOWER ANALYSIS START  \nWIZ  \nDeriving from the latin word“potis ,” meaning “lord ,” power is something many men have done far more than kill to achieve .  \nBOOMSTICK  \nProbably because the more power you have , the more cool shit you get to just do without anyone questioning you . Why else do you think everybody wants to rule the world?  \nWIZ  \nWell , perhaps it ’s just mother nature . As much as we like to think humanity is good , the desire to attain power is as natural as the fears we hold in our hearts .  \n(MORE )  \n2 .  \nWIZ (CONT ’D )  \nFears that , in the world of Chainsaw Man , are much more real than we could ever see in our worst nightmare .  \nBOOMSTICK  \nEverybody ’s worst fears manifest as cool ass creatures called Devils , with the sickness factor typically ramping up the more feared that thing is . Like , the Muscle and Tuna Devils ain ’t shit , but Hell and Darkness are metal as shit .  \nWIZ  \nThough , sometimes the most important things are somewhere in the middle . Born from humanity ’s fear of their very blood and named after an order of angels in Christian beliefs , the Blood Fiend , Power , is a lot , and I mean a lot of things .  \nBOOMSTICK  \nA pathological liar , a show-off , a scaredy cat , and apparently really discriminatory against humans . Fun . But , wait , I thought the fear monsters were Devils . The hell ’s a Fiend?  \nWIZ  \nNot far off . Fiends like power are the result of a Devil inhabiting the corpse of a human as a sort of last resort to survive . The process greatly weakens the devil ’s abilities , though it ’s typically better than the alternative of dying . Typically Fiends just look like their human hosts but with unusual head ornamentation , such as horns or odd eyes .  \nBOOMSTICK  \nWell , however it happened , the Blood Devil would start wearing the flesh prison of a mystery dead chick and wander around the wilderness until she met a little kitty cat she named Meowy . Guessing that ’s why I didn ’t see “creative”  \non that list of traits earlier .  \n3 .  \nWIZ  \nAlthough she initially planned to  \nplump up the cat to eat it , she  \neventually grew fond of Meowy ,  \nseeing her as the only companion  \nshe had in the world .  \nBOOMSTICK  \nUntil– Jesus Christ what the fuck  \nis that thing?! Oh . Okay . It ’s just  \nthe Bat Devil . I ’m good , I ’m good .  \nNope– okay , I need a drink . I ’ll be  \nback , just do the thing .  \nWIZ  \n…Until the day the Bat Devil  \ncaptured her companion and used  \nMeowy as a hostage , demanding Power  \nbring it a human to eat in order to  \nregain its strength . In this  \npursuit , Power ended up becoming a  \nmember of the Public Safety  \nDivision ’s Devil Hunter unit , where  \nshe ’d find the perfect human to  \nmanipulate into following her to  \nthe Bat Devil ’s hideout .  \nBoomstick cracks a beer .  \nBOOMSTICK  \nFortunately for my eyes , that  \nsucker turned out to be Denji , the  \nChainsaw Man , who sent that ugly  \nass demon to hell where it belongs .  \nAnd that was the start of the  \nbeautiful dream team of Power and  \nDenji . And Aki too , I guess .  \nWIZ  \nPower ’s , well , powers would serve  \nher well as a Devil Hunter . Her  \nposition as the Blood Fiend grants  \nher the ability to freely  \nmanipulate her own blood .
