Wallace Community College are assessed through a 3-level screening guideline process.  \nEXEMPTION: Students who have taken the ACT and scored 18 or higher in English and 20 or higher in mathematics will be exempt from taking the ACCUPLACER placement assessment. ACT scores cannot be older than five years. Copies of the ACT documenting these scores must be provided to the Admissions Office in advance of taking the test and prior to registration.  \nStudents can be placed into certain math and English courses based on high school transcripts with a GPA of 2.75 or higher and a grade of “C” or higher in the appropriate highschool class(es) .
