Aligning the resources to the CBSE curriculum remains our key challenge, which we wanted to address by collaborating with the Cambridge team.  \nA focus on problem solving throughout the course, with activities catering to different cognitive levels, makes the teacher’s resource a good choice for teachers.  \nMrs YogitaThakare  \nMaths Educator  \nWhat are your school’s professional development goals?  \nOur school believes in the importance of learning contemporary teaching and learning practices. We are an inclusive school and our educators are trained to cater to the needs of all learners. Educators are trained to prepare individual learning plans (ILPs), differentiated teaching and learning strategies, scaffolding tools, engaging learners using active learning strategies and using reflective metacognitive techniques in the classrooms.  \nWhich aspects of Preparing to Teach did you find most helpful?  \nThe training materials are extremely helpful with the detailed flow of the course structure. The initial masterclass set the tone for our follow up inschool workshop and gave a good insight into the expected outcomes ofthe Preparing to Teach course.  \nDo you think that collaborating with Cambridge has helped you to overcome challenges?  \nThe course has given us a good insight into how to use key teaching approaches effectively, with the support of Cambridge resources. At PICT Model School, the teacher’s resources have always been the go-to guides for effective planning and implementation. We needed some additional support from the Cambridge team to align the learning objectives with the National Curriculum. We are now confident that our learners will grow up with a global outlook.  \nMoving forwards  \nHow are you measuring the impact of the Preparing to Teach course?  \nAt the end of each lesson educators are taking the time to reflect upon the effectiveness of active learning strategies, differentiated worksheets and assessment opportunities. The learners are in the process of discovering the content through hands-on activities.
