phonics or vowel patterns onto the cardstock.For example, if using 2 patterns, I could write/hide shorta words (such as flat, brag, & than) and long a words (such as gate, name, & cake) on cardstock.  \nWord Search Directions:  \n• Students take watercolor paint and paint over the page.  \n• Once they discover the words, they read them and begin to look atthe word patterns and see if they can group together words that are similar.  \n• Students use the recording sheet needed (either for 2 patterns, 3 patterns, or 4 patterns) and write the phonics categories in the boxes atthe top.Then, they
