The Author's Message reflects on writing childhood fiction with innocence and laughter, describes earlier life without electronic gadgets, and recalls games, kite wishes, storybook reading, and rewarded narration sessions. It also contrasts past imagination with today’s reality-driven era and emphasizes protecting children’s treasure of fun, fond memories, and memories. As a kid, whenever I held a book in my hand,I used to get lostin my own imaginative world, which was beautiful.Iwas brought up in early eighties, where He-Man andSuperman were superheroes and Cinderella was everygirl's favourite fairy-tale character. We did not haveelectronic gadgets to zoom out and zoom in on animage. \nAll we could do was imagine and visit that imaginaryworld created by us.It had all the best things we wantedto put;hence, imagination became stronger, and Istarted to visit even Universal Studios in my imaginativeworld.Be it in the classroom or a friend's house, all I did(and most ofother children)was play different outdoorand indoor games.I cherish the days I spent in creatinga rainbow of my choice which seemed to be visitingearth after a rainy day. \nI feel exhilarated revisiting days I spent walkingin a puddle and fying kites with street boys, writing \nwishes on kites and considering that those wishes wouldbe answered.I hated growing up,but I had to be likeevery other kid, learning to take academics beyond theprescribed curriculum and making genuine efforts inexcelling as per the criteria set by education system.Inever let the younger version of me get into the grown-ups'world,and I chose to be an entrepreneur whosedomain would be kids. \nMy profession gives me the opportunity to bewith children of different age groups, acknowledgingtheir versatility and smartness in today's scenario.Ifeel I should have been born in this era.I grew upreading a lot of storybooks, and some of them weretranslated versions.Be it the Panchatantra tales,ChachaChaudhary and Sabu,Arabian Nights,or Malgudi Days, every storybook occupied a special place in my shelf. \nI remember hiding storybooks in school bags totake them to school and show them to my other friends.Story narration sessions conducted by our languageteachers were like rewards and stars.Yes,there was noGoogle. There were no e-books;all we had to do wasperform well to get a storybook as a reward. \nAfter I grew up,I realised children these days aremore inclined towards reading, writing, and doingvarious activities which I could not do.But I still feelthat they are not experiencing the joy of imagination asthey are in an era where their imagination is a realityChildhood is every child's treasure box and needs tobe filled with fun, laughter, fond memories, and lots oftales even from an unknown island.Stories are not just","cbCaig8QxwpkRVNZ","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaig8QxwpkRVNZ","pdf",2726673,"English","# Author's Message\n# Chapter 1\n# Chapter 2\n# Chapter
