Read your textbook.  \n􀁸 Read your textbook before the topic is covered in class. Make notes on anything you do not understand, so you can get that cleared up during class.  \n􀁸 It is crucial to master one concept before going on to the next and to stay current with your reading.  \n􀁸 Read actively-read with paper and pencil in hand-work out examples yourself-highlight and take notes.  \n2. Set up a regular study time and place.  \n􀁸 Be aware of your best time of day to study.  \n􀁸 Study two hours for every hour you spend in class.  \n􀁸 Because most math classes are cumulative, it is better to study for a shorter amount of time more often, then to wait until the day before the test.  \n􀁸 Study math first if it is your most difficult subject.  \n􀁸 Study with others-you will learn different approaches to reaching solutions.  \n3.
