With the range of choices available, the possible career options and personal interests can also make it a little daunting. The following questions can be useful when considering your preferences:  \nHow do I know what I will want to do (study, work, travel) in one or two years?  \n• What if I change my mind?  \n• How do I know what studies are going to complement my interests?  \n• How do I know what studies are going to give me a good ATAR?  \n• What if I don’t get a good ATAR and what is a ‘good’ ATAR?  \nThe good news is that by making a choice now, you are not bound to it for life. So relax and think about what you like, are good at and what field of study or work you are interested in pursuing.  \nThere are no tricks to getting a good ATAR. The ATAR represents your overall performance across all studies, not individual subjects. To get a good ATAR, you should therefore pick subjects that interest you and in which you can perform well.  \nThink about your areas of passion. Success is about reaching your goal and not giving in. Whatever your dream is, it requires hard work and dedication to make it happen. In most cases you will need to plan and, most importantly, have a number of options just in case.
