Pink information slips went out through homerooms with information. .  \n● School-provided Chromebooks will be used for the test (not your own device) .  \nThe best way to prepare for the OSSLT (regardless of whether you have attempted  \nit before or not) is to…  \n… do the online  \npractice test.  \nTake it seriously and do your best!!!  \nYou can check your answers only after you have completed the ENTIRE test.  \nGeneral Information  \n• The OSSLT is all online.  \n• It is based on curriculum expectations up to and including the end of Grade 9.  \n• It is one of the requirements for your OSSD (high school diploma) .  \n• It is NOT assessed by your teacher or anyone else at CCI.  \n• 75%(300) is the mark required to pass the OSSLT.  \nGeneral Information  \n• There are TWO parts to the literacy test.  \n• There will be a variety of different multiple choice questions or multiple-select questions (eg., drag and drop, drop-down menu, checklist) .  \n• You will also have to write 2 or 3 open responses (oneparagraph answer) and one series of paragraphs (opinion essay) .  \nGeneral Information  \n• TAKE YOUR TIME AND TRY YOUR BEST!  \n• The word count for each response will be indicated in the text box provided andwill count down as you type.
