This applies to schools in Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu (Group A) which reopened yesterday, and schools in Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, Melaka, Negri Sembilan, Pahang, Perlis, Penang, Perak, Putrajaya, Sabah, Sarawak, and Selangor (Group B) which reopened today after a week-long break. Online classes can be conducted for all students or selectively for certain students at the affected schools. The ministry will coordinate with parents and guardians regarding the continuation of these classes. As of Saturday, six educational institutions were still affected by floods in Kedah, and 36 institutions were being used as PPS, with the majority in Kedah. In total, 1,056 students remained at designated PPS premises. State Education Departments and district Education Offices have mobilized support teams to provide counseling and learning assistance to students at these PPS.
