\nLet me share with you what happened, tothe best of my ability that is.I remember theexact outfit I had on that night-a cute, black, fitted top and some red jeans.A few friendsand I were bored and decided to go out for abit.We decided to head downtown to hang out.I was having a good hair day,and in my mind,it was going to be a great evening.I was readyto have some fun with friends—a spontaneousouting. It was a fun night, but after a few hourswe decided to get in the car and head home. \nOn our way home,I was at the wheel.Iremember talking and laughing when suddenlya car passed us and hydroplaned on the wetstreet near us,causing me to react and losecontrol of the wheel. The car flipped severaltimes, ejecting me through the windshield. When I landed,a piece of the car severed myright arm above the elbow in an instant.Themost insane thing is I actually do not remem-ber anything after that flashed before my eyes. \nEverything I am sharing I learned fromothers—doctors, nurses, emergency personnel, family, friends, and observers.I flew approxi-mately 50 feet from my vehicle.I still cannotbelieve my body flew out the windshield andlanded on the wet ground.I could hear myfriends running towards me screaming and cry-ing,“oh my God Suzan, are you okay?”I triedto answer, but nothing came out.I tried again, but no sound. \nMy head felt dizzy, heavy, and I felt lost andconfused—lost for words and confused becauseI was not sure what happened or where I was.How did everything happen so quickly? \nI do not remember much before the impact.I remember driving home, talking with myfriends, and bam! That was it.Everything elsethat happened after was a complete blur.Thenext thing I remembered was laying on the wetground. Why were people crying and why wasI laying on the wet ground? Why was no onehelping me up?Why could I not help myself up? \nFor the life of me,I could not even let themknow that I was okay, because I had no abilityto speak. Not only could I not speak,I could notmove. How ironic that this was supposed to bethe most painful moment in my life, but I couldnot feel a thing. My body was completely numb.I could not move my body,I could not open mymouth, and I could not even blink my eyes tosignal anything to the people around me.All Icould hear were the ambulance nearby, and thelights flashing. The people's faces were a littlefuzzy so I could not see who they were, but Iheard my friend Mikey's voice clearly—he wasscreaming, crying, and sobbing. \nI knew something was wrong.Somethingbad must have happened.Istarted to understand \nthere was something wrong because of thesound of everyone sobbing around me.Thiswas going to be the longest and worst day ofmy entire life.I was already slowly dying inside. \nEverything happened so fast.Everyonearound me was panicking and seemed like theywere moving so quickly. No one would tell mewhat was going on.I tried to make eye contactwith everyone around me,but no one wantedto look back at me.I was so afraid, and myeyes were full of tears. That I could feel.Theykept falling do","cbCaiqwpG0LnJZ2m","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiqwpG0LnJZ2m","pdf",3064873,124,"English","# Chapter 1\n## The
