Welcome to the Self-Study Programme \nDear Student, \nWelcome to the Self-Study Programme. Places on our Oxbridge Mentoring Scheme were particularly competitive this year as we could only accept 60 students. However, we’re thrilled tobe able to offer you a place on our Self-Study Programme instead. With approximately 6,800 students being accepted to study at Oxbridge each year; the Self-Study Programme is our way to support you exploring whether Oxbridge is right for you. We recognised the enthusiasm, passion and potential you showed in your application and believe you really are capable of getting a place. On the Self-Study Programme, we will send you monthly guidance to help you in your selfpreparation; the path is one that many of our mentors themselves secured Oxbridge offers without much support from schools or family. This programme was created by graduates who have trodden your very path! You will be advised on activities to improve your Oxbridge admissions prospects and will be given access to our free resources and templates. You will be invited to attend and engage in monthly interactive webinars with our team. We know that you will want to make the best of this opportunity and we are looking forward to supporting you on your academic journey. Enjoy the Self-Study Programme! \nBest wishes \nJoyce, Nik, Barney, Amol, Dionne & Tim (Insight Outreach Trustees ) \n2. Getting the most out of the Self-Study Programme \nIt is important to recognise your responsibility towards your own future success. The students that get the most out of this programme are those who are proactive and regularly explore wider reading and university level topics in their own time outside of school studies.
