There weren’t any broken machines in the village, since Oma could fix every machine.  \nAccompanied by her pet duck, turkey, and stork, Oma also took care of the village’s fields. No pest was allowed. Rats, caterpillars, grasshoppers: any pest would have to face Oma.  \nOne day, Oma Tong-Tong was out in the fields swiftly catching grasshoppers with her bare hands.  \nBut wait, more and more grasshoppers kept appearing!  \nSuddenly, a loud noise filled the air. A strange dark cloud appeared in the sky. Then the cloud seemed to fly down into the fields!  \nOh no, it was actually a swarm of grasshoppers! They ate all the corn in the field. In a blink of an eye countless crops were ruined.  \n“We can’t allow the grasshoppers to eat all of our crops. We have to fight back!” Oma TongTong said, persuading the villagers to join her. The birds also followed suit.  \nOma’s bucket filled up fast. The birds feasted on the grasshoppers.  \nThe grasshoppers could be turned into nutritious meals. Oma Tong-Tong was a very good cook. Yum, the smell of Oma’s cooking was really enticing.  \nOma Tong-Tong kept fighting  \noff the grasshoppers in every field.
