However,achieving grade B is a clear indication that a nurse has the right language skills to worksafely and effectively in an English-speaking environment.  \n# 5\n\nWhat do i have to do in the OEt test?  \nThe OET Nursing test consists of four papers, Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.  \nlistening and reading  \nThe Listening and Reading papers are taken by all healthcare professionals who sit the OET.  \nIn the Listening paper, you first listen and complete some notes on a consultationbetween a healthcare professional – it could be a doctor, dentist, vet, or allied healthprofessional, as well as a nurse – and a patient or carer. You then listen to a talk orlecture on a medical topic and answer a variety of questions.  \nIn the Reading paper, you first read 3 or 4 short texts on a common theme and completea summary paragraph.
